Maths For Life Conference - Treloar’s
We are delighted to announce the second Maths For Life Conference hosted by Treloar’s School & College, Hampshire on Wednesday 2nd December 2026, from 1.00-5.00pm. Attendance at the conference is FREE and by invitation only.
Treloar’s is a charity that provides outstanding education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, and empowers them to live more independent and fulfilling lives. They support around 180 children and young people, aged 4 to 25 years, who come from across the country to attend the school and college. All of their students are physically disabled, many with complex clinical needs and a sensory impairment. They provide a fully inclusive, supportive environment where young people can learn whilst having therapy and care integrated into their tailored programme.
Chris Butler, Maths Co-ordinator for Treloar’s School and College in Hampshire was the guest speaker at a recent SEN School Networking session. Now in their 4th academic year of using the Maths For Life programme, he talked about his insight and experience of both the implementation and evolution of the programme in a SEN school.
Attendees at the conference will have ample opportunity to talk to Treloar’s staff and other schools using Maths For Life, share ideas, and benefit from the training and workshops provided by the Maths For Life team.
The conference will start at 1.00pm with lunch, refreshments and an opportunity to network. There will be a tour of the school followed by the change to see Maths For Life in action, take part in a focused workshop and receive a training session from Karen McGuigan.
As numbers on the day will be limited, we would ask you to complete the following form to register your interest and request a place(s) at the conference.
